Hey how’s it going.. is this the Smith residence? Cool, I’m assuming you’re the owner?
Ok, I know you get a lot of door knockers so I’ll be really quick.
My name is Matt and I am with Vivint.
I’m just following up on the State power project, most of your neighbors didn’t know what it was about, but it just has to do with how you’re currently getting power to the home right now.
Are you the one who is in charge of paying the power bill right?
Ok, so there’s been a few changes to your recent bill, do you actually study the bill or just pay whatever they charge?
The problem is we got called out to the area because your neighbors felt like they were getting overcharged by comed. It’s due to the simple painful fact that life keeps getting more expensive like gas and groceries, and electricity is no different…I know you have probably noticed it..
Anyways, I’m sure you’re happy with COMED but when was the last time they gave you a discount or a better deal?
Good news is.. the state is pushing homes to go green so if your home is eligible you can opt out of the increasing and unpredictable rates Comed is charging you, and INSTEAD get a lower fixed rate for your power without putting any money down by utilizing solar, the only catch is that homes have to qualify and not all do unfortunately… Essentially we just swap out your current electric bill for a much cheaper solar bill for $0 down..I know you have been seeing the panels going up in the neighborhood (nod your head to trigger mutual understanding)
(if needed, explain this one more time to clarify it even more! Then ask, “does that make sense mr. customer?”) Now, I’m not here to commit you to enroll in this program. My job is to give you the information you are entitled too, and bring back the numbers to see if this makes sense.
I just have 2 policies.. policy number 1 is that we have to save you money day one, and then the second thing is that you have to be able to enroll in this program without putting any money down.
So, if I can’t do those two things then we simply aren’t able to enroll you in this program..
What determines your eligibility for this state program is how much you pay and how much power you use…
So, what is needed is one of these graphs on your bil… (show them the graph from comed bill )
The graph tells our engineering team how much power you guys are currently using. My job is to take that to the design team, and they will go ahead and customize a system that’s going to produce just as much or a little bit more, that way you’re using and of course like I said if you’re eligible, it will be far cheaper than what you’re paying currently with comed… does that make sense?
So, are you guys on hard copy or paperless?
Ok great go grab that for me and and I’ll wait right here.
